(Sheridan, Wyo) Science Saturdays at Sheridan College are back! While the monthly educational events usually start up in September, this year the planned expedition to the dinosaur quarry had to be cancelled due to weather. The October Science Saturday is titled “Matter’s What Matters” and will be Saturday, October 21st from 10:00 am to noon at the Sheridan College Science Center: rooms 119, 122, 134, and 144.
Science Saturdays are free to the public and kids of all ages are welcome. Program director Sarah Mentock says, “Science Saturdays are designed to get kids interested and involved in Science early on.” The event will be led by Teri Rowland and the description reads,
Join us for hands-on, minds-on science involving matter in all three states- solids, liquids, and gases. Expect small explosions, gooey messes, and lots of fun while seeing the wonders of chemical reactions.
Science Saturday’s are sponsored by the Sheridan College Museum of Discovery and Science Kids. For more information, contact Sarah Mentock at 307-763-0976 or email email@example.com.
