Check Out Wyoming State Parks With This Backpack From the Library

(Sheridan, Wyo) Beginning Jan. 15, families and children across Wyoming will be able to visit and experience all of Wyoming’s state parks, historic sites and trails free of charge. The opportunity is provided through a program called the “Check-Out State Parks Library Program.”
In partnership with the Wyoming State Parks, The Sheridan County Fulmer Public Library has four backpacks that can be checked out from the Children’s Library. The backpacks are available to check out for two weeks at a time, and are filled with pocket guides to identify Wyoming birds, wildlife, plant life, weather, and geology. A free day pass, a compass, a bug box, binoculars, a magnifying glass and a Wyoming State Parks’ Visitors Guide are also included.
The Sheridan County Fulmer Public Library wants to remind residents that Wyoming is rich in recreational opportunities and a good way to get started is at your local library.
